| CSDSA is a volunteer group of families with children who have Down syndrome, as well as people interested in helping us in our endeavor to inform and remain updated on Down syndrome. We are a non-profit organization, established as a family interaction group. We come together to exchange ideas and stories. We all give a great deal, and we all get a great amount of information from each other in areas of child development, the future and the family. We also offer the following * Meetings feature speakers and discussion on a variety of topics related to Down syndrome. * Social gatherings are held throughout the year. We also have a "teen group" that organizes events throughout the year. * Upon request from the family, a CSDSA parent will visit in the home, in the hospital, or by telephone. We provide support and share experiences and information. * CSDSA publishes a newsletter, "Hand in Hand", filled with information on meetings, news, stories, medical updates and educational issues. * We provide "New Parent Packets" with up-to-date information on Down syndrome. * We provide scholarships to families for educational, recreational and medical purposes.

| We provide counseling for post-combat readjustment, military sexual trauma, bereavement, couple and marital counseling and family counseling.
We serve veterans who have served in support combat operations, veterans who have suffered sexual trauma and family members of those killed on active duty (death does not have to be a result of combat).
You must have served in the Global War on Terror (GWOT) sometime between 2001 - present and sustained a traumatic brain injury (does not need to be combat related) and be stationed or live within the State of Colorado and complete an application for services.

| The Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (TEDP) makes telecommunications equipment and accessories available to qualified deaf and hard of hearing citizens in the state of Colorado. The equipment includes: amplified telephones, CapTels, speaker telephones, TTYs, video-phones and specialized telephone equipment for deaf-blind citizens.
